HYDERABAD: A paper cutting blade found at the house of Himachal Pradesh governor-designate
Bandaru Dattatreya’s house
has caused flutter among his followers on Wednesday. However, after the preliminary enquiry police confirmed that the blade was accidentally dropped by one of the visitors.
On Wednesday afternoon, police were informed about the paper cutting blade found in the waiting area at
Dattatreya’s house in Ramnagar
. “On Wednesday morning around 25 carpenters met the
governor
designate to congratulate him. The paper cutter, whose holder was loose might have accidentally fallen from someone’s pocket,” said Musheerabad police.
Police have beefed up the security at Dattatreya’s house. He has 2+2 gunmen, along with three constables including a woman constable for access control check with the DFMD and five cops for perimeter security at his house.
