Telangana BJP to agitate with sarpanchs

HYDERABAD: Telangana BJP on Thursday said that it will take up agitation in all districts taking along the sarpanchs as the state government has not completed the process of giving cheque powers to issue funds for the development works.
In a press release, the BJP said centre had given about Rs 5000 crore funds to the panchayats in the state but they are not being used.They also alleged that panchayat secretaries had not been paid salaries in the past six months.
