He reportedly expressed his displeasure that a leader of a ''friendly party'' had unilaterally launched a fast, without first discussing the issue with the government or the BJP high command.
Sources said the chief minister instructed home minister Devender Goud to talk Jitender Reddy and resolve the issue.
Meanwhile, panchayat raj minister N Janardhan Reddy from Mahabubnagar district and B V Mohan Reddy from Kurnool stuck to their stands on the inter-district issue respectively. Naidu pulled up the TDP leaders from both districts for "messing up" the issue and failing to explain the efforts of the government protecting the interests farmers.
The question of calling an all-party meet to debate the issue was also debated length.
Sources added that a final decision on the all-party meet would be taken during the second round of talks scheduled for Tuesday.
Fast not indiscipline''
Mahabubnagar MP A P J i t e n d e r Reddy''s decision to undertake a ''fast-untodeath'' on the Rajolibanda Dive r s i o n Scheme (RDS) has come in for discussion during the BJP state leaders meeting on Monday.

Party''s state in-charge L Ganeshan and senior party leaders attended the meeting to finalise the name for party''s state president post. Some of the senior leaders present in the meet had opined that Jitender Reddy should have informed the high command about the fast, the sources said.
