Bhanu to make it 'Most Wanted' list

HYDERABAD: Prime accused in the Maddelacheruvu Suri murder case Bhanu will soon make it to the `Most Wanted' list of the crime investigation department (CID).
After the embarrassment suffered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) due to goof-ups in its most wanted list, additional director-general (DG), CID, SV Ramana Murthy has ordered a complete review of the list of the most wanted criminals of the agency.
"The review is still going on and once it is done, we will be knocking off some names from the wanted list and adding new names. Bhanu will be in the most wanted list," the additional DG said.
The list would also comprise some NRIs, who had committed grave offences like murder here and fled to foreign countries. It would also feature Telugu NRIs who arrived here and disappeared after committing grave offences in countries like the US and Australia. The list is likely to be dominated by white collar offenders.
CID's cyber crime sleuths have been assigned to draw up the wanted lists. One list would comprise criminals wanted by the CID and the other wanted offenders of various SPs and commissioners of police in the state.
