BHADRACHALAM: Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announced on Sunday that an action plan would be prepared to develop Bhadrachalam on the lines of Tirupati.

bhadrachalam: chief minister n chandrababu naidu announced on sunday that an action plan would be prepared to develop bhadrachalam on the lines of tirupati. he said that a 15-acre land was earmarked for constructing cottages with private participation. addressing reporters here, naidu said that rs 10 crore was sanctioned for the development of bhadrachalam township and another rs 2-crore worth works were under progress.

the government was contemplating to build cottages as in tirupati, he said. he said the government was also keen in developing the town as a tourist spot. he informed that the government was planning a tourist circuit connecting bhadrachalam, parnasala, and papikonda hills. as part of the plan, naidu said the temple would be renovated and vaastu doshams, if any, would be corrected. district minister tummala nageswara rao, khammam mp d vijayakumari, collector a giridhar also participated in press conference. the chief minister asked roads and buildings minister tummala n a g e s w a r a rao, endowments minister d a n d u sivarama raju, endowments commissioner ajay kallam and khammam collector a giridhar to finalise the action plan and submit the same to him by monday. later, the chief minister released a souvenir on the just-concluded bhadradri utsavams. district collector and bhaktha ramdas trust chief patron giridhar handed over a project report to the chief minister requesting him to release more funds for the trust.
