Hyderabad: The war of words between
Telangana Congress and BJP escalated as Union minister Bandi Sanjay wrote a letter to CM A Revanth Reddy. In his letter, Sanjay demanded the Congress govt implement its promises, including affixing PM Modi's photo on ration cards and at ration shops, and refraining from renaming the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Sanjay said state schemes like Rythu Bharosa should be carried out as promised, but central names must remain intact.
The letter also highlighted unfulfilled promises, such as Rs 20,000 crore annually for 70 lakh farmers, Rs 12,000 annually for landless laborers under Athmiya Bharosa, new ration cards for four lakh families, and subsidised rice. tnn
