hyderabad: the auto drivers joint action committee has called off the `auto morcha' planned for august 4. the morcha will instead be organised during the monsoon session of the assembly. the committee leader mohammed amanullah khan said if the state government failed to withdraw go ms no 69, which increased fines and regional transport authority's (rta), transaction fee, the auto drivers in twin cities would demand an increase in auto rates.
the committee is also demanding immediate stoppage of auto quota permits in hyderabad and ranga reddy districts.
