Apologise before Nalgonda visit: Venkat Reddy to KCR

Hyderabad: Roads and buildings minister K Venkat Reddy on Sunday stated that former CM K Chandrasekhar Rao should visit Nalgonda only after apologizing to the people of the district. Speaking to the media after touring the district on Sunday, he said the BRS govt did not keep the promises they had made to the people of Nalgonda. Alleging that KCR always neglected Nalgonda, he said KCR has no locus standi to speak to people of the district. “KCR always misled people of Telangana,” he added.Congress MLA K Rajagopal Reddy said during the previous tenure of KCR had an understanding with AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and handed over Telangana irrigation projects to KRMB. “In 2014, KCR vowed to complete SLBC and Sivannagudem projects. Even after 10 years in office as Telangana’s CM, nothing was done to move projects forward. The BRS govt did not even provide compensation to landowners under the R&R plan,” he said.
