AP promotes, transfers 25 IPS officers

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh government has transferred 25 IPS officers on Wednesday and gave them new postings.
Intelligence IG T Yoganand has replaced Amit Garg as Visakhapatnam police commissioner. Garg has been posted as IG (Provisions&Logistics) in the existing vacancy. Vigilance and enforcement DG, AR Anuradha has been posted as principal secretary (Home) in the existing vacancy and she will also hold full addition charge of DG (V&E) post.
IG (law and order - II) N Sridhar Rao has been posted as IG, south zone, in the place of V Venugopal Krishna, who has been transferred to the post of IG, police transport organization (PTO).
Additional commissioner of police, Vijayawada, Mahesh Chandra Laddha, has been posted as IG intelligence in the existing vacancy. On promotion, Anantapur range DIG, K Satyanarayana, has been posted as IG, CID in the existing vacancy. DIG, special intelligence branch (SIB), B Srinivasulu has been promoted and posted as IG, SIB. DIG, legal, E Damodar has been promoted and posted as IG, legal.
DIG of Visakhapatnam range, A Ravichandra has been promoted and posted as IG, training - II. DIG, security, PVS Rama Krishna has been posted as DIG Eluru range and the incumbent officer, P Hari Kumar has been posted as joint commissioner, Vijayawada commissionerate.
AIG (L&O) J Prabhakar Rao has been promoted and posted as DIG of Anantapur range. SP Prakasam district, Ch Srikanth has been promoted and posted as DIG of Visakhapatnam range. SP Srikakulam, A S Khan has been promoted and posted as joint commissioner, Visakhapatnam commissionerate and CID SP J Brahma Reddy has replaced him at Srikakulam.
SP intelligence, J Satyanarayana has been promoted and posted as DIG, security. Visakhapatnam DCP, CM Trivikrama Varma has been posted as SP of Prakasam. SP CID, Rahul Dev Sharma has been posted as SP Visakhapatnam Rural. APSP VI battallion commandant, B Raja Kumari has been posted as SP Rajahmundry urban. Vijayawada DCP, LKV Ranga Rao has been posted as Vizianagaram SP and intelligence SP, PHD Rama Krishna has been posted as Kadapa SP. Another intelligence SP, R Jayalakshmi has been posted as SP Tirupati urban.
SP rank officers, Grewal Navdeep Singh, Koya Praveen, S Hari Krishna, Naveen Gulati and Gopinath Jetti have been transferred from their district postings and directed to report at police head quarters.
