Anurag Sharma takes charge
Anurag Sharma on Saturday took charge as the Telangana director-general of police at the Telangana police headquarters.
At 6.30 pm on Saturday, Sharma took charge by officially signing the documents. On Friday, he flew to New Delhi to attend an official meeting after formally meeting chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao.
Since June 2, 2014, Sharma was officiating as incharge DGP and it was recently the state government completed the formalities of sending the eligible names to UPSC.
