Anjan Kumar Yadav's nephew held

HYDERABAD: Banjara Hills police on Monday arrested the miscreant who damaged the windshield of a vehicle in Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav's convoy.
After examining the CCTV footage at Park Hyatt Hotel, where the incident happened and questioning eye-witnesses, Banjara Hills police have arrested Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav's nephew Durga Prasad Yadav from Rajendranagar.Durga Prasad had damaged the right side rear window glass of the Scorpio vehicle in which a UP police team assigned for Akhilesh Yadav's security was travelling.
Police had also picked up one Srinath from Rajendranagar, who was involved in the assault on UP police inspector Ramshabd Yadav. Some other suspects were also taken into custody and they were being interrogated.
Trouble broke out at the Park Hyatt hotel at Banjara Hills on Sunday morning after security personnel of the UP chief minister did not allow Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav to travel in their convoy vehicles. Miffed with the attitude of the UP police, Anjan Kumar's followers assaulted the UP inspector and damaged his vehicle's window glass. Following the incident, Banjara Hills police had registered a criminal case against the culprits.
