HYDERABAD: The National Mazdoor Union (NMU) on Friday gave a strike notice to APSRTC managing director AK Khan with 36 demands. In case management fails to react, they have decided to strike work from July 14.
NMU working president M Nageshwar Rao said of the 36 demands, four were most important. “Abolition of contract system in APSRTC, regularisation of nearly 22,000 contract drivers and conductors, constitution of pay commission were among these,'' he added.

Earlir, APSRTC had regularised services of over 20,000 workers.
