The original FIRs were registered on the complaints from the registrar general of AP HC. He alleged that the key personnel in the Andhra government intentionally targeted the Judiciary and made derogatory posts on social media platforms following specific verdicts. As a result, CBI got the objectionable posts removed from the social media platforms, public domains and accounts were closed down.
CBI arrested the accused in July and August in Vijayawada and Hyderabad. Earlier chargesheet was filed on September 2 against one of the accused.
