After tragedy at VBIT door, students want speed breaker

Raising slogans such as `Vinod tu amar rahe' and `We want justice', they pointed out how the recent case wasn't the only accident that had occurred. “ I have witnessed four-five fatal accidents. While students have made these demands in past also, all our requests have fallen on deaf ears,“ said Nanda Kumar, Vinod's close friend who was witness to accident.
As part of their protest, students demanded the college pay for his medical expenses for fai ling to “take corrective measures to prevent such accidents“.“Also, the college must offer monetary compensation to Vinod's family ,“ said Manish Reddy, one of the protesting students.
“We will construct speed breakers and set up sign boards by early next week,“ said Amarender Rao, principal of VBIT.
