HYDERABAD: Even as Andhra Pradesh gears up to host the Afro-Asian Games, Asian Olympic Association secretary-general Ranadhir Singh has expressed satisfaction over the existing sports infrastructure and suggested some improvements.
Singh, who is in the city in connection with the Afro-Asian Games proposed to be held in October, went round various stadia and sports facilities built for the National Games.
Earlier in the day, Singh met chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
Singh said the facilities need minor improvements.
The chief minister is likely to visit New Delhi shortly to meet other office-bearers of the Indian Olympic Association, where a formal announcement about the Games'' venue would be made.
