Aeroexpress catches fire

HYDERABAD: An Aeroexpress bus plying between Shamshabad and Begumpet caught fire near Satamrai on Tuesday afternoon. The lone passenger got down after being alerted by the driver.
According to the Shamshabad police, fire erupted from the engine of the shuttle bus (AP 28TB 1761), which was heading to Begumpet from the airport, when it reached Satamrai.The bus driver,, Jairaj, noticed the fire and immediately stopped the vehicle.
As the fire spread rapidly, the bus was gutted before the fire engine could douse the flames, SI Kasi Vishwanath said.
