) K Babu Rao's bigamy surfaced yet again after his first wife, K Devasri moved a petition in civil court at

Purani Haveli

to protect her rights by either giving her divorce or accept her

conjugal life

. Failing which, she demanded that Babu be directed to pay maintenance. Her husband used to allegedly harass her both

mentally and physically

.

Babu however claimed that Devasri left him long back and did not return despite requesting several times. He went on to say that he got their first daughter married and is going of getting the second daughter also married.
