Accused took bond for 3 lakh from aspirants

HYDERABAD: The key accused, who masterminded the arson that took place in Secunderabad railway station, Avula Subba Rao has demanded 3 lakhs from each aspirant, who joined Sai Defense Academy, if they were selected for Army, said Secunderabad railway police on Saturday.

Subba Rao and his staff used to keep track on location of where Army conducts recruitment rallies.

They hire a function hall near by and lure the aspirants to join their institute. Subba Rao takes a bond for 3 lakh and take their certificates as suriety.
