A sombre, yet touching play
Age is just a number, there’s no right age to fall in love — this was the message Lillete Dubey’s new play, Salaam, Noni Appa had in store for city’s theatre enthusiasts. An adaptation of actor-turned author Twinkle Khanna’s popular collection of short stories by Adhir Bhat, the 90-minute play was a heart-warming story of unconditional love between two sisters — Noni and Binny. The star-laden cast of the gripping drama had many prominent names in the theatre circuit such as Meher Das, Jayati Bhatia, Rishi Khurana and Darshan Jariwala among others.

Staged at a city’s auditorium, the feminist drama was replete with light-hearted moments to which the audience laughed to their hearts’ content.
