On May 9, Sayana Sree Deepthi lodged a complaint with Keesara police station claiming that her late husband, Shaina Shaibabu, was the owner and was in possessor of plot number 5 (814 square yards), plot no 6 & 7 (400 square yards) situated at Sreemitra Enclave in Rampally village. It was Sai Kumar, Praveen Reddy and four others who allegedly conspired to grab the land of the complainant.
Police said that Sai Kumar, Praveen and a few others with the help of Murali allegedly created fake documents, impersonating the complainant’s family members. Later, using these fake documents, the accused got the plots transferred in the name of their associates — Sai Goud and Sai Kumar — by impersonating the complainant’s family members.
“The accused used to identify disputed properties or plots where owners were not alive. Using fake property documents, Aadhaar card, legal heir certificates they used to execute their plan to grab the land. By luring a few persons to impersonate the actual property owners, the prime accused used to sell the property to interested customers and earn money by keeping the customers in the dark about the alleged fraud,’’ Rachakonda police said.
