HYDERABAD: Five persons, including four students, were arrested on Saturday for killing and robbing a Western Union money transfer agent at Boggulakunta in October.
The criminals bludgeoned the victim to death with baseball bats and stole Rs 5 lakh from him. Police said that Shadan Engineering College student Hyder Khan, B Com student Ahmed Hussain, two intermediate students Abdul Sami and Abdul Shoaib, and Abdullah Bin Bayameen, a worker, were arrested for throwing chilli powder in the eyes of the victim and subsequently killing him.

They then abandoned the victim’s vehicle near Faluknama railway station. However, as there were CCTV cameras near the railway station, their movements were captured and based on the evidence they were nabbed.
