5 bike thieves arrested at Meerpet

Hyderabad: Meerpet police arrested five vehicle thieves along with two stolen goods purchasers and recovered 28 stolen bikes from their possession on Wednesday.
The police nabbed Suresh, V Gopi, D Gyaneshwar Reddy, Venkatesh and M Ganesh Yadav. Acting on a tip-off, cops nabbed them while they were travelling on two stolen bikes at Meerpet. Based on their confession, cops arrested Jhonny and Srikanth from Meerpet and recovered 28 stolen bikes from their possession.
The culprits were produced in court and remanded in judicial custody.
