WARANGAL: The Andhra Pradesh Vaidya Vidhan Parishad (APVVP) is providing a special 40-bed hospital for the devotees of Medaram jatara this month.

warangal: the andhra pradesh vaidya vidhan parishad (apvvp) is providing a special 40-bed hospital for the devotees of medaram jatara this month. according to dr p lakshmirajyam, additional director of apvvp, a team of 60 doctors, consisting of specialists and general practitioners, would be available at the special health camps during the medaram sammakka saralamma jatara.

lakshmirajyam said the administration would provide a 330-member paramedical team to attend to the health problems of the pilgrims. the medical and health department, she said, was establishing three main health camps, one each at the jatara bus stand, reddygudem and kondai areas, while the 40-bed hospital would be set up at chilakalagutta area. similarly, the administration is operating health camps on each of the approach roads, she said. on the chlorination process undertaken by the medical and health wing, the vaidya vidhan parishad official said the three wells in the jatara limits were treated with chlorine and these would provide pure water round-theclock to the devotees. the medical official said rs 4 lakh had been allocated for medicines and rs 12 lakh for other needs at the jatara. district malaria officer govind rao was also present on the occasion.
