HYDERABAD: Three persons suffered stab injuries when members of two groups attacked each other after an argument over business at LB Nagar on Sunday. In another case, the passenger of an auto stabbed the driver following an altercation over the fare to be paid at
Santosh Nagar
on Sunday night.
On Sunday evening, members of a community dealing with septic tank cleaning work gathered at
Erukala Nancharamma Basti
in
Mansoorabad
area of LB Nagar to discuss sharing of business. The two groups ended up clashing and attacked each other with knives.
"Three persons suffered knife injuries in the attack. Members of both the groups lodged complaints and we have registered two cases against the groups," assistant commissioner of police (
ACP
), LB Nagar, P Venugopala Rao said. All the injured were out of danger.
In the second case, the assailant, Rameez Khan, 23, a native of Parbani in Maharashtra, stabbed auto driver
Md Ghouse
, 40, of Ashmabad, Chandrayangutta, in the neck after an altercation near Yadgiri theatre. Locals immediately pinned down the accused. The condition of the auto driver was said to be critical.
