4 burglars held for stabbing astrologer

HYDERABAD: Four robbers who were involved in attacking an astrologer few days ago in

Madhura Nagar

, were arrested by SR Nagar police on Thursday. The accused are repeated offenders and were identified based on

footage.

SR Nagar police said that SK Nasar, B Samba Raju, B Koteshwar Rao and a juvenile were arrested. The accused are generally involved in making flexi banners. On November 12, they came across astrologer Shankar and his wife and started demanding money. When Shankar refused to give the money, they attacked him with a knife before fleeing with two mobile phone and 3.5-tola

gold

ornaments.

"The accused till now were involved in three offences registered in SR Nagar police station,'' police said in a note.
