360 Covid cases in Telangana, two deaths

HYDERABAD: Continuing with the trend of a 10% increase in

Covid-19

cases each day over the last few days, Telangana on Saturday recorded 364 new cases. Two deaths were also reported.

The number of active cases meanwhile have jumped from 1,700 a fortnight ago to 2,607 now. The case fatality rate (CFR) meanwhile increased slightly from 0.54% to 0.55% currently. The recovery rate has reduced from 98.88% a fortnight ago to 98.58%.

On Saturday, 66,036 samples were tested for the coronavirus infection. Telangana has now tested 95.5 lakh samples and has reached 2.56 lakh sample testing per million population.
