3,000 cops for security tomorrow

HYDERABAD: City police have roped in 3000 cops for bandobust during the Telangana state formation day celebrations to be held at Parade Grounds on Thursday.
Of the 3,000 cops, 300 from Task Force, City Security Wing, Special Branch, law and order, have been divided into teams to conduct vehicle checking and frisking at the Secunderabad railway station, Jubilee Bus Station, Rasoolpura X Roads, Tivoli X Roads and nearby lodges.
Police have requested the public not to bring hand bags, lunch boxes, inflammable material or any other 'objectionable' items to the venue. The entire venue will be under a CCTV camera surveillance.
