3 injured in car collision at Adikmet

HYDERABAD: Three persons suffered injuries after their car rammed into another vehicle on

Adikmet

flyover on Monday morning.


Around 9.45am, Navneet Reddy, 28, was driving his Swift Dzire and got on to the Adikmet flyover. As he was trying to overtake a vehicle ahead of him, he swerved to the right and rammed into a WagonR coming from the opposite direction. Apart from Navneet, two other occupants of the Dzire — Ramesh, 45, and Vinay, 60 — suffered minor injuries and were shifted to Yashoda Hospital in

WagonR owner G Bhaskar, whose car was completely damaged in the accident, lodged a complaint against Navneet for rash driving. He, however, escaped without any injuries.

Based on his complaint, police have registered a case against Navneet under Sections 337 (Causing hurt by act endangering life or personal safety of others) and 279 (Rash driving or riding on a public way) of the IPC.

“Both the cars got damaged . We are yet to make any arrests" Nallakunta inspector V Yadagiri Reddy said.
