HYDERABAD: Union culture and tourism minister
G Kishan Reddy said Centre is developing many heritage sites across the country and in
Telangana, more than 25 heritage projects are supported by Centre.
"Close to 72 antiquities are in the process of being repatriated from various countries including the USA, UK, Singapore and Australia. On numerous foreign visits, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has discussed this matter with global leaders and multilateral institutions" the minister said.
Giving the details of various projects across Telangana, Kishan said many tourism and heritage circuits are coming up in a big way in the state, including heritage project in Warangal fort, development of Ramappa Temple by Prasad scheme and ASI, Bhadrachalam Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple by Prasad Scheme, Alampur Jogulamba Ammavari Temple (by Prasad Scheme and ASI) among others.
