22 IPS, 2 IAS officials shifted

hyderabad: in a major reshuffle of ips officials, the state government on saturday transferred 16 superintendent of police rank officers and gave them new postings. six additional sps were also elevated to sp-rank and assigned new postings. nizamabad sp a ravishankar ayyanar has been posted as the new deputy commissioner of police (dcp) of north zone in the city.east zone dcp c v anand is the new dcp of the newly created central zone. srikakulam sp p v sunil kumar has been posted as the dcp of east zone. dcp traffic m v dinakar prasad has been transferred to the intelligence wing. nellore sp k srinivas reddy and intelligence sp lakshman mohan are posted as the deputy commissioners i and ii respectively of the traffic wing.the second dcp post was created to improve traffic situation in the city. kurnool sp, p s r anjaneyulu, is posted as the guntur sp. nalgonda sp b shivadhar reddy has been made the new sp of srikakulam district, while vijayawada railway district sp k v rajendranath reddy is the sp of nellore district. medak sp v venugopala krishna has been moved to the grey hounds wing as the group commander, while secunderabad railway district sp shika goel replaces krishna in medak. guntakal railway sp n balasubramanyam is posted as the commandant of the apsp 3rd battalion, in place of seshagiri rao, who is the new commandant of the apsp 5th battalion. apsp ist battalion commandant harish gupta is posted to the crime investigation department as sp, while k rajaratnam naidu, who is awaiting posting, is the new vijayawada railway sp. commandant of central police lines,amberpet, s a sattar will be the new guntakal railway sp. six ips officers of the 1996 batch have been promoted as sps and given new postings. officer on special duty (osd) of nalgonda district n sanjay is promoted and posted as the kurnool sp, w h i l e kothagudem osd vishwanath chennappa sajjanar is the new sp of nalgonda district. cuddapah osd shankha brata bagchi is the new sp of nizamabad district. medak osd charu sinha on promotion has been posted as the commandant of apsp ist battalion, while mahbubnagar osd anil kumar is the new commandant of apsp 7th battalion. guntur asp bhavana saxena is posted to the cid as sp. meanwhile, the government on saturday transferred municipal corporation of hyderabad additional commissioner j c sharma, ias, and posted him as the vicechairman and managing director of the ap scheduled caste cooperative finance corporation replacing c uma malleshwar rao. uma malleshwar rao, has been posted as secretary in andhra pradesh public service commission, in the existing vacancy. sharma, who belongs to 1985 batch, was posted in the mch in december last and he is being shifted as the new mch commissioner chitra ramachandran also belongs to the same batch. according to rules, mch cannot have both the commissioner and additional commissioner from the same batch of ias officers.
