2 students die in road mishaps

HYDERABAD: Two students died in separate accidents involving RTC buses since Saturday.
A third year B Com student, D Anil Kumar, 20, was knocked down by a bus on Sunday afternoon. Anil and his friend Ramakanth were on their way to Uppal when a bus proceeding to Yadagirigutta, hit their two-wheeler at Ramanthapur, assistant sub-inspector of police M K Abdul Ali said.Anil was a student of Avanthi Degree College and was staying in JVR Velama hostel at Himayathnagar.
In another incident, M Sowmya, 18, of Vanasthalipuram, was riding pillion on her uncle's two-wheeler when a bus hit them at LB Nagar. She suffered severe injuries and died on the way to hospital.
