2 IPS officers promoted
Two IPS officers of 1983 batch - Tejdeep Kaur Menon and D Bhoobati Babu - were promoted as additional directors general on Thursday.
Menon, alumnus of Nasr Girls School, St Ann���s and St Francis College, earlier served as additional city police commissioner (Traffic).
Babu who holds a doctorate in agriculture science served in the Central Bereau of Investigation (CBI) between 1994 and 2001 as SP and later as deputy inspector general (DIG).
He returned to the Andhra Pradesh state cadre and served as DIG (CID) and IG (Recruitment).
It was only about a month ago that he was posted as IG (Administration).
