2 held for stealing autorickshaws, 11 vehicles recovered
Hyderabad: Two persons, who were allegedly involved in stealing autorickshaws, were arrested on Sunday by Jogulamba-Gadwal police.
The police said that the arrested accused –Syed Sameer and Mohammed Aleem- were caught based on the tip off about their movement in the district.
The two accused were wanted for past two cases and a case against them has been pending.

After nabbing the two accused, police seized 11 stolen vehicles from their possession. They were allegedly plying them using fake registration numbers.
The accused had been stealing parked autorickshaws and made money by selling them. The accused were also arrested in the past. After release from the jail, they continued stealing autorickshaws, said police.

Kerala: Five persons killed in school bus, autorickshaw collision
Five people, including four women, died in a collision between a school bus and an autorickshaw in Kasaragod district, Kerala. The accident occurred in the evening when the bus was returning after dropping off school children. The victims were members of the same family. Preliminary investigations suggest that the bus was speeding and coming from the wrong direction around a curve. The bus driver is in police custody and an FIR will be lodged soon.
