18-yr-old Maoist held

VISAKHAPATNAM: Rural police arrested an 18-year-old Maoist in the Visakha agency area on Saturday. Identified as Vantala Jagannath alias Naresh, he hailed from Valasapalli village in Y Ramavaram mandal of Visakha-East Godavari border.
According to the police, he had joined the Maoist party when he was 13. He served as a Galikonda dalam member before being promoted as deputy commander.He was the personal bodyguard for the secretary of the east division Jagadish alias Lenju for more than three years, sources said.
It is learnt that he revealed to the police the location of many dumps in the Chintapally agency.
