Hyderabad: 13-year-old boy dies of snake bite

HYDERABAD: A 13-year-old boy, a class 8 student of BC Welfare Residential Hostel at Bogaram village in Keesara, died due to a suspected snake bite on Sunday.
Keesara police said that the incident happened around 7pm while the boy, G Shiva Shankar, was playing in the ground. He complained of being bitten by something and later when his condition deteriorated the hostel authorities shifted him to hospital.Shiva died around 9pm while undergoing treatment. The authorities informed the boy’s parents, who are residents of Vikarabad district. Later, they staged a protest accusing hostel authorities of negligence.
