13 workers injured in fire accident in Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: A

fire

accident that occurred on late Wednesday injured 13 people.

A gas cylinder exploded in a jewellery unit center located in Chowk Maidan falling under GHMC

All the workers who were injured are from

West Bengal

working in jewellery shops/ jewellery making units located in Charminar zone. The injured were shifted to

Osmania General Hospital

.

After locals informed the cops, two fire

engines

were pressed into service to douse the fire. After that, there was a gas leakage due to which the fire spread in two rooms and people suffered burns.
