Villager donates land for school

Kalaburagi: A villager in Firozabad near Kalaburagi has donated his one acre land to construct a government high school and Urdu medium school in his village. These were long-pending demands.
Abdul Latif Shaik Mehboob Jagirdar donated one acre land owned by him to construct new building for high school. Recently zilla panchayat CEO Bhanvar Singh Meena asked DDPI to hold a meeting with parents and villagers meeting at Firozabad to find government land in the village to construct a new building.
The village has a high school but does not have its own building. It operates from the local primary healthcare centre building. The local primary school has its own building. Kalaburagi South BEO Shankramma Dhavalagi held a meeting in the village and asked for land from donors. Abdul Latif agreed and said he was ready to transfer the land to the government. Abdul Latif’s family members have also agreed to donate the land .
