Vijayanagar: 2 women selling ganja arrested

HOSPET (VIJAYANAGARA): Hospet town police have arrested two women allegedly selling ganja and seized 2.5kg of the contrabrand from them.

The arrested are Hemalata, wife of Mahadev, from Myasageri in Hospet, and Kalavati, wife of Shivaprasad, from Danapur village. Police produced them in a court, which remanded them in judicial custody.

Vijayanagara SP K Arun said: "Our police arrested them and filed an FIR under articles 20B and 2B of NDPS Act."
