Two fishermen drown
Two persons drowned when their coracle capsized in the backwaters of Tunga-Bhadra dam near Singataluru lift irrigation project site in Huvinahadgalli taluk on Monday evening.
The deceased Yellapa (22) and Ambarish (17), natives of Alipura village were fishing in the backwaters when the incident took place.
