Telangana people have voted for pro-people party: Priyank Kharge
Kalaburagi : Rural development and panchayat raj minister Priyank Kharge said that the people in Telangana have voted against the corrupt Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party and voted in favour of a pro-development and pro-people party. He was talking to the media in Kalaburagi on Sunday, where he said that he visited Telangana and that the people there told him that the BRS was the most corrupt government, and that it was involved in corruption to the tune of Rs 1.5 lakh crore in the Kaleshwaram irrigation project only.

People of Telangana were influenced by the five guarantees introduced in Karnataka by the Congress government, and also pro-people and pro-development government, he said. He said that the results of the assembly elections in these four states will not affect the coming Lok Sabha election. There is no threat to the Congress party of any operation lotus, he added. TNN
