HUBLI: The students are expressing concern over the safety of their answer scripts after SSLC exam's Hindi answer scripts were burnt in Shimoga recently. There has also been another incident in Bangalore, wherein the answer scripts faced the threat of being washed away following a downpour that inundated an institute in the capital.
Not just SSLC students, but even college students are now a worried lot about the safety of the answer scripts.

`The Times of India' visited SVP Mahila Vidya Peetha Degree College here and spoke to the final semester students of Journalism about what measures to be taken by the government to avoid such incidents in future.
The burning of answer sheets due to short circuit in Shimoga showed the callousness of the examination board. The future of students hinges on their answer scripts, and any damage to them may spell doom for their career. The examination board should preserve the sheets on the lines of ballot boxes after election.
