Street play staged in Bijapur dist

BIJAPUR: Ranga Mela Kala Tanda staged a street play on child labour and its fallout, in various parts of the district in the past week.
National Child Labour Project Society and the labour department jointly organized the week-long programme. The language of the play, directed by Neenasam graduate D H Kolar, was easily understood by the villagers.The organizers said they received good response at Nagathan, Atharga, Tamba, Indi, Devar Hipparagi, Talikot, Almel, Sindagi, Basavana Bagewadi, Muddebihal, Nidagundi, Horti, Baradol and Chadachan areas.
Parusharam Sarawad, Hanamant Kulkarni, V G Patil, Parusharam Babaleshwar, Veena Sarawad, Raju Sarawad had acted in the play.
Ranga Mela Kala Tanda staged the play.
