Ravi told reporters here on Wednesday that if the state government has really spent the amount in north Karnataka, the CM should explain on which schemes or projects the money was spent. “The people have not been benefited from the projects. Let the chief minister explain how many jobs the government has created in north Karnataka. Instead of using the money on projects, the government has misused the funds by creating

fake bills

,” he alleged.

The former minister said that the people of the state are expecting transformation. “Parivartana Yatre (the rally for transformation) of the BJP has been getting much support from the people. More than 1 lakh people will turn up at the rally at the stadium on Thursday. With more support pouring in for the BJP, we will form the government again with full majority,” he said.

Ravi said that the Congress won more seats than the previous election in

Gujarat

due to its

caste politics

. “The victory of the BJP in Gujarat and

Himachal Pradesh

will impact the Karnataka assembly election,” he said.

He also said that the

Mahadayi

issue will be solved amicably. MLC Pradeep Shettar was present at the news conference.
