SSLC result: Belagavi and Chikodi edu districts improve rank

Belagavi: Both Belagavi and Chikodi educational districts have improved their performance by securing 18th rank and 23rd rank in the state list for SSLC results 2025-2026. Last year, Belagavi secured 25th place while Chikodi secured 26th place in the state rank list of the SSLC results. Now, for the 2025-2026 SSLC examination, Belagavi educational district recorded 94.7% and Chikodi educational district recorded 94% results, moving up in the state's rank list. Prarthana Nagappa Biradar of Chikodi educational district emerged as the state topper by scoring 625 out of 625 marks.Out of the 30,860 students who appeared for the SSLC examination in the Belagavi educational district, 29,241 students passed, recording a result of 94.7%. Out of the 41,500 students who appeared for the examination in Chikodi educational district, 39,049 students passed, recording a pass rate of 94%.In the Belagavi educational district, 65 students scored between 615 and 624 out of 625. These students are now on the list of achievers of the educational district. In the Chikodi educational district, one student scored 625 out of 625, while two students who scored 624 out of 625 are on the list of achievers.Leelavati Hiremath, deputy director, school education & literacy department, Belagavi, said: "This time, despite many hurdles, we made every effort to prepare students for the exams. The cooperation of teachers, guardians and parents was obtained to improve academic results. This time, efforts were made to get more students to sit for the exam. The results of the SSLC examination were excellent in the entire state, and Chikodi educational district was no exception. He said that it is gratifying that the overall result of Chikodi district this time has crossed 94%.
