Special trains to clear rush for Velankanni Feast

Hubballi: The Railways has decided to run Vasco da Gama-Velankanni-Vasco da Gama Suvidha Special trains on August 27, September 3, and September 7 from Vasco da Gama end and on August 29, September 5 and September 8 from the Velankanni end to clear extra rush during Feast of Our Lady of Good Health at Velankanni.
Vasco da Gama-Velankanni Suvidha Special will leave Vasco at 10.30am on Saturday and September 3 and reach Velankanni the next day at 12.35am.Velankanni-Vasco da Gama Suvidha Special train will leave Velankannai at 9.30am on August 29 and September 5 and reach Vasco da Gama at 10am the next day. The train will have stoppages at Madagaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Kundapura, Udupi, Suratkal, MangaluruJunction, Kasargod, Kannur, Thalaserry, Kozhikkode, Tirur, Shoranur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirapalli, Tanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
Vasco da Gama-Velankanni Suvidha Special will leave Vasco da Gama at 10.30am on September 7 and reach Velankanni the next day at 12.35am. Velankanni-Vasco da Gama Suvidha Special will leave Velankannai at 7.30pm on September 8 and reach Vasco da Gama at 9.10pm the next day. This train will have stoppages at Madagaon, Karwar, Kumta, Bhatkal, Kundapura, Udupi, Suratkal, Mangaluru Junction, Kasargod, Kannur, Thalaserry, Kozhikkode, Tirur, Shoranur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirapalli, Tanjavur, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.
The train will have 18 coaches including four AC 3-tier coaches, 12 second class sleeper coaches, two second class luggage-cum- brake vans.
