Some pontiffs promoting blind faiths: Seer

Belagavi: The pontiffs of some mutts are trying to promote blind faiths for their benefit, said Dr Sarangdhar Desikendra Swami of Sarangmath. He was speaking after inaugurating a seminar on “Vachankranti Punarutthan”, organized by Akhil Bharat Sharana Sahitya Parishat and Jilla Sahitya Parisat, at SG Balekundri Institute of Technology, here on Sunday.He lamented that the government has not established any university named after Basavanna.
Dr Siddharam Swami of Nagnur Rudraximath and Dr Gurupad Mariguddi also spoke on the occasion. District president Dr VS Mali, Gurusiddha Swami of Karanjimath, former KSP president Y R Patil and Dr K R Siddhagangamma were present.
