K R Ravindra, an RTI activist, submitted a memorandum to Mandya DC a month ago, urging the state government to recover the medical expenditure of around Rs 1.5 crore incurred by the government for treatment of Ambareesh at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore in 2014. In his memorandum, Ravindra alleged that as an MLA of Mandya assembly segment, Ambareesh had the responsibility as a people's representative but had skipped the special session of the
Karnataka legislature to discuss the
