People will teach Yatnal a lesson: Murugesh Nirani

Vijayapura: Minister for large and medium industries Murugesh Nirani lashed out at Vijayapura MLA Basanagouda Patil Yatnal for the latter’s utterances against party leaders. He said people will teach him a lesson if he does not mend his ways.Without directly taking Yatnal’s name, Nirani said on Saturday that ‘one person’ was constantly speaking against him, Yediyurappa, the state government and the pontiff of Harihar Peetha in a language that is unbecoming of a person belonging to the land of Siddheshwar Swamy. “Please remember what you were before coming to politics. People of Vijayapura will teach you a befitting lesson,” he said.On Yatnal’s statement that the Panchamasalis are not ready to accept reservation under 2D category, Nirani said, those opposing should know the facilities that are available under different categories. “The struggle for reservation by Panchamasalis is four-decades-old and Yediyurappa had formed a cabinet committee comprising Basavaraj Bommai and me to consider the demand,” he said.Responding to Yatnal’s allegations against him, Nirani said he was a businessman who has provided employment to 70,000 people. Nirani Group will be the number one company in the world, he said and added he did not collect shares for dairying and starting a factory and then backing out. (in an oblique reference to Yatnal).
