Pahalgam tourists not served justice: Satish Jarkiholi
Belagavi: Public works minister Satish Jarkiholi said that in the backdrop of ceasefire, the strife between India and Pakistan stopped. "The 26 tourists who died in Pahalgam were not served justice," he saidSpeaking to media at Suvarna Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday, Minister Satish said that everyone expected a full-scale war to happen but it did not. "The challenge ahead is how to build the country in the future. Everyone, including the BJP, expressed the opinion that the war should not be stopped. The BJP raised the issue on social media and demanded that the war should be on the model of Indira Gandhi in 1971. However, now the war has stopped. Therefore, nothing can be done," he said. The question of why Trump intervened and who appealed to him will come out one day. Till then, we all have to wait, he added."A suo motu case was registered regarding the incident of burning the holy book in the under-construction mosque of Santi Bastwad village. The police are investigating. The mosque did not take any precautionary measures, including installing CCTV cameras. Such cases are increasing. We will take action to prevent them," the minister said.
