Music festival on Sunday

Dharwad: Bharateeya Sangeet Vidyalaya will organise ‘Swara Gandharva’, a day-long Hindustani classical music festival to mark the 12th death anniversary of Hindustani vocalist Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi at Srujana Auditorium here from 10am to 9pm on Sunday. BSV president Dr Soubhagya Kulkarni said 16 artists will pay musical tributes to the doyen of Hindustani music. The concert will start with Mumbai’s Sawani Shende’s vocal recital. TNN
